Fun and Science are not always mutually exclusive! Here at AEL we make sure that learning is optimized and fun at the same time!
The concept of material density and mass is presented to students and is met with pure excitement! New words and knowledge everyday at AEL!
Here, students take on a whole new learning experience as they get to experience first hand how material properties affect their reaction to light.
Fun with English!
AEL Students learn to communicate in english in a fast-paced setting as they play the game of "Last Man Standing". Here, each student is given 5 seconds to shout an English word that is related to the given theme/criteria when the ball is thrown at them, they then pass the ball requiring the next student to do the same. This game practices the students' ability to think fast while enjoying the lesson.
October 3rd, 2017: A Story in 4 Parts (with AEL 6)
This lesson involved teamwork, creativity, logical reasoning and communication skill. AEL 6 were given a story setting and told to continue the story. The only problem was that they had to draw their story in 4 parts - they weren't allowed to write any words. After a time limit of 20 minutes, each team had to tell their story to the rest of the class (in English, of course)! Good fun for all and a good way to get the students to create English for themselves!
